Chemical Research Society of India

The Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) was established in 1999 as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the country’s independence. Currently, CRSI represents more than 2300 lifetime members, who participate in the study, practice, teaching and promotion of Chemistry. The main objectives of the CRSI are to recognize, promote and foster talent in Chemistry and Chemical Sciences and to improve the quality of Chemical Education at all levels. The CRSI organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia and other related programs to facilitate and promote research in all branches of Chemistry. The society has active collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), London, the American Chemical Society (ACS), Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES), the German Chemical Society (GDCh) and the French Chemical Society.

FUTURE EVENTS

 

Due to exponential growth of COVID 19 infection cases in India, the governing Council of Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) has taken a decision to postpone the 27th NSC-CRSI Conference scheduled to be held in Kolkata during July 16 - 19, 2021.  Accordingly, this meeting is postponed for the time being.  The situation is reviewed and further updates for the meeting will be taken by the first week of July. The updates regarding the meeting date are also shared in the IISER Kolkata and Meeting websites (https://www.crsi-nsc27-iiserkolkata.com/).  This decision is taken considering the safety and health of all

CRSI invites nominations from former Presidents, Council members (past & present) and previous medallists for various Medals.  The nominee must be a Life Member of the CRSI.   

There is no nomination form and only a copy of bio-data, which includes the publication record, is required. 

Nominations are open till May 31, 2021.
