Chemical Research Society of India
The Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) was established in 1999 as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the country’s independence. Currently, CRSI represents more than 2300 lifetime members, who participate in the study, practice, teaching and promotion of Chemistry. The main objectives of the CRSI are to recognize, promote and foster talent in Chemistry and Chemical Sciences and to improve the quality of Chemical Education at all levels. The CRSI organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia and other related programs to facilitate and promote research in all branches of Chemistry. The society has active collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), London, the American Chemical Society (ACS), Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES), the German Chemical Society (GDCh) and the French Chemical Society.
Due to the current pandemic, the 27th CRSI-NSC is postponed from February to April 2-4, 2021, to be held at IIT Guwahati. The 15th CRSI-RSC symposium will be held on 1st April, 2021.
28th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry and CRSI-ACS joint Symposium in Chemistry will be held in July 2021 at IISER Kolkata. Convener: Prof. Swadhin Mandal
Recent Trends in Medicinal Chemistry, co-supported by CRSI, will be held in July 28, 29, 2021 at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Convener: Prof. Bhanushree Gupta, CBS, PRSU, Raipur
